DATA ENTRY CLERK – REMOTE (PART TIME)

KAM Consultants is a well-established NYC-based environmental consulting firm serving a wide range of private clients and government agencies throughout the Greater New York area. We are currently seeking a Part-Time Remote Data Entry Clerk to support our team in compiling and quality-checking reports related to lead inspections in residential properties across the five boroughs.

This position is ideal for a detail-oriented and tech-savvy individual who can work independently and guarantee timely turnaround of assignments. The role requires a reliable remote work environment, strong communication skills, and a proactive mindset to meet daily report deadlines.

Responsibilities:

Compile and format Excel worksheets and PDF documents into final inspection reports
Accurately review and verify documentation for completeness and compliance
Ensure all required signatures and information are present before finalizing reports
Perform thorough quality checks on all submitted work
Communicate regularly with the office team to report status updates or resolve issues
Send daily emails confirming completed tasks and outstanding items
May assist with additional data-related tasks as needed

Qualifications:

Must have a reliable computer, high-speed internet, and a quiet, distraction-free workspace
Ability to guarantee that all work is completed by the following business day
Extremely detail-oriented and capable of catching inconsistencies
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Adobe Acrobat (PDF editing and form filling)
Minimum 6 months of data entry experience required
Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma with relevant experience accepted
Previous experience in environmental consulting or construction industry is a plus

Job Type: Part-time (weekends/evenings)

Office Location: Long Island City, NY 11106 Work

Location: Remote (Required)

Starting Pay: $20.00 per hour

Work Hours: 20 hours per week (varies)
